Renovation and extension in Montuïri

This project is based on a clear premise: to respect the existing structure, open the home up to natural light, and reinforce the continuity between indoors and outdoors.

The renovation transforms an old building in the centre of Montuïri, reorganising its spaces to adapt them to a more contemporary way of living. On the ground floor, the renovation establishes a direct, physical and visual connection with the rear courtyard, where a swimming pool has been incorporated. The first floor comprises three double bedrooms, whilst the second floor features an additional bedroom and a roof terrace with views of the Serra de Tramuntana.

A renovation that seeks to preserve the essence of traditional Mediterranean architecture, reinterpreting it through a contemporary, light-filled and tranquil lens.
